Close up on Climate: Youth film challenge

Climate change could affect so many of the things we love – from our families, to our food, to our future. But often the conversations about it seem remote and technical, and it’s hard to really get people engaged.
We know that young people care about climate change. And we know they have the imagination and enthusiasm to inspire others. So the we’re asking them to harness that creative energy and make short films about what climate change means to them to share with their friends, families, communities and elected representatives.
The most inspiring and creative films will be featured in Climate Coalition public campaign in 2015, and showcased to a specially selected audience at an event later this year.
To find out more, visit the Close Up On Climate website, where there are instructions and resources for young people, teachers and youth leaders on how to get involved.
